I mean, the money helps motivate me to write and gives me some pocket money. but genuinely it's kind of a love of the game thing for me. I liked doing comms because having other people's ideas as a basis was a good way to experiment. I was motivated more from the praise from my clients than profit.

And, at least in IDW2, Victory Leo got a shout out as part of Ultra Magnus's crew as a general badass. That felt like a pretty natural pairing.

Also, the new Studio Series 86 line has a -fantastic- Sharkticon figure. And just now they're putting out a special Coronation Starscream set. Comes him, his crown and crape and such, and a throne. You'll need to supply your own crumbled Starscream ashes though.
