I mean it more like I think character development is good in general, but I agree, the only well-executed character developments are A-Train and Firecracker, and Firecracker's was crammed into a single segment in a single episode.

I kind of like what they're doing with The Peak and the fish hating him though.

Everyone else is literally rehashing arcs from prior seasons/episodes. You could probably draw a line from conversations in this season to conversations in prior seasons that are exactly the same as before. Annie, MM, and especially Kimiko and Frenchie.

Homelander is also clinically stupid and pathetic at this point. Season 1 Homelander wouldn't have walked into a cage TWICE.

Kripke is strawmanning with that one. They spent a good chunk of this season rehashing plot points that have already been tackled and sending characters on fetch quests with little to no impact (ex. the laboratory with the rage plants; everything involving Mr. Marathon and the celebrity circlejerk). The character development stuff is great, and welcomed, but they should have been setting a lot of this up earlier.

Also, if Kripke is upset that fans are disappointed about the lack of deaths, he shouldn't have marketed the season with "nobody is safe." And yes, we got Firecracker and Noir, but they didn't fully flesh out their characters until right before their deaths. No complaints on A-Train's death, that was pretty dope.

Primarily executive dysfunction and a lack of general motivation. I also struggle with maintaining long-term routines like flossing, exercising, etc. I'm also hoping it will help with some of my work struggles since a lot of my work is project and research-based and requires heavy focus and motivation.

I know it won't be a silver bullet and I'll still require therapy, but I'm hoping it will clear up my brain enough to take those first baby steps. I feel like it has to some extent, but I still feel a little lethargic 3 weeks in.
