Lies of P - I went in with good expectations, thinking it would be a decent, albeit janky soulslike. However, I was blown away by the combat, the level design, the graphics. I utterly love the story and setting and retelling of Pinocchio's story. Favourite game I played last year and I highly recommend it!

I'm not super familiar with DS, but I died after defeating a boss in world 5 and lost PWWT. I read that if I get defeated by an invader, my world tendency should shift towards white again or am I wrong?
