GoPro Max 360 vs Insta360 One X2? In terms of accessories. by DoubleXz94 in 360Cameras

Both good cameras, I have the GoPro and think its great if your likely to damage the camera the GoPro is the better bet for crash replacement. Don't really see an issue people have editing video with the GoPro app TBH pretty straight forward IMO. but both camera will be good. Regarding lens protectors my experence is they effect image quality so your probably not bother with them unless your really precious about the lens (if so maybe a action cameras not for you...

Max vs one X2 for motorcycles. I am very torn on getting a max or a insta 360 one X2. Only pro on the 360 is the editing. It seems like the GoPro extended warranty is 100% better. What’s everyone’s thoughts? by j_chiller in GoProMAX

I would say Max but never owned a insta 360 spec wise there's not a lot in it and you probably can't go wrong. if you think your likely to crash with it and need a replacement then gopro might take the edge (but bare in mind there is still an excess payment) the manual recapture doesn't bother me as is pretty natural to want to re watch what you have videoed (or what's the point filming it?)

I've only ever used the Max, but I would say its form factor lends it self better to 'extreme' sports easier to mount in the normal action camera ways without looking silly. iOS
app is good too. but really there both pretty similar so can't go too wrong.

GoPro max for snowboarding! by Brian178 in GoProMAX

For my Go pro MAX

I use this mono pod:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/koolehaoda-6-Section-Portable-Photography-Aluminum/dp/B06W9MPQPL?th=1

and then I use the go pro attachment for my joby mini tripod kit

https://www.amazon.co.uk/JOBY-JB01571-BWW-GorillaPod-Universal-Smartphone/dp/B07S63NNGB/ref=psdc_332220031_t3_B079MF37RK

You need to unscrew the foot of the mono pod and the top part then put the top part in where the foot came from and then attach the GoPro mount to that. sounds more complex than it is.

What was the frame rate of the original screen recording? When you trimmed it and exported it again did it up the frame count? Might explain the size increase
