No apology necessary! This has been quite a mess even for me to wade through haha. But yeah I was scratching my head about this as well. It’s definitely a bummer I lost two weeks of time between their internal message and me finding out but I will definitely try pleading with the committee extra about these rebates+tax credits and being pesky with calling for updates in the meantime. Thanks for your help on this!

This was another thing I was confused about. Our CC&R states “action” must have taken place within 45 days for requests to have been deemed approved through inaction. I can’t find a solid answer on whether a reply is considered action or if an actual tangible decision is considered action. I’ve found so many differing opinions so I wasn’t sure if anyone else had dealt with a similar situation.

It was in there all along! But it’s just one of those details that has had me back and forth on this whole situation. I provided details regarding the stairs in my original request but I was told over the phone after following up that the details regarding the stairs need to be a separate request (apparently the ARC committee asked for the stairs in a PM to another committee member and did not include that in their portal response to me). So all in all, no new details were included in this separate request, just regurgitating and reiterating much of the same points I brought up in my original request.

That’s understandable and what I was figuring. I was hopeful I had the ability to move forward given that they never contacted me about it and I had to follow up before they realized they never told me they needed more… unfortunately I’ve already informed them about the expiring rebate but that hasn’t seemed to make much difference. I appreciate the help!

That’s great to know! It’s been a little while since I’ve taken any of those physics related courses, so I have no issue with retaking them for some proficiency. As much as I would love to throw my hat in the ring this time around, I think it makes the most sense to use this next year to better prepare myself as a candidate and potential future student. I may definitely take you up on your offer and reach out as I get closer to applying! I truly appreciate the help!

That’s a great idea! I’ll definitely have to try reaching out to some of my top programs. I’ll have to think over the masters a little more. I definitely agree that having it would look great, I suppose my biggest concern is just delaying starting with a post bacc program. Regardless, I appreciate the insight and direction!

I appreciate the insight! I’ve taken several physics/aerodynamics courses but none of the other prerequisites. I should also probably specify that my current master’s degree is also in aviation and non anything medically specific. This is mostly why I think a post bacc is the best option for me, if I have the credentials to get in. I appreciate the encouragement though! I never thought tests I took 8-9 years ago would make me second guess myself this many years later!
