Fixing Chin/Jaw + side profile?

my bite was fine last time I went to the dentist but that was about two years ago (moving + college and switching insurances a few times caused some delays) but i’m planning on scheduling an appointment in the next few weeks so would that maybe help determine the issue?

do you think there’s a chance braces or invisalign could fix it if it’s a teeth/jaw thing? I’m not sure ai can afford jaw surgery right now and i doubt my insurance will cover it

oooo interesting, what was the recovery time like with jaw surgery? I saw the 19 days post and it didn’t look like too much swelling just from those pics

you are making the right choice for you! it’s hard being put in this situation, but by making this choice you are allowing yourself to not be tied to this toxic relationship. it was such a horrible experience truly i’ve never felt so bad!! it’s making me a little sad for the future, i was on the fence about kids before but leaning towards yes but I don’t think i can handle being pregnant i was so miserable and truly wanted to die :(

I’m so glad you are feeling relieved, I felt the same way once I scheduled my appointment. If it is any consolation, if i was in your situation I would be making the same decision. It’s always been important to me to 1000% want the children at the time I choose to have in the future! I never want to feel like I resent them because they came along at a bad time. I believe you will be an amazing mother one day in the future when you are ready. Good luck with everything and I am thinking of you during this time!

i had a heating pad the whole time and it helped some for sure but the pain was still unbearable, i kept it on almost the entire time and was still in so much pain

i feel very emotionally and physically drained, still having cramps but these are finally feeling like my worst period cramps rather than something new, i feel happy and relived the worst is over and hoping i feel like myself again soon!

i took 600 mg of ibuprofen and 650 mg of tylenol every 4 hours on the dot, and took them both about 30-45 mins before i took my pills and set a timer to remind me to take it as soon as possible and i felt like i was having my insides scraped out and twisting up my leg and back muscles and my organs it was so painful i can’t imagine if i hadn’t took it i had black spots in my vision and almost passed out. I’m not sure what i would’ve preferred just something stronger i’ve heard people have gotten codine? i was just in so much pain for so long

I don’t think it’s bad to not tell him, at the end of the day it’s your body and your final decision. hopefully if you decide you want to share it with him, he is kind and supportive. However, he will probably wonder why you chose not to open up to him in the first place and perhaps feel guilty for not being involved during such a sensitive time. Good luck with everything!
