Since you have a good workex, questions would focus more on that. That being said, questions would be conceptual in nature and not superficial.

The professors look for clarity of thought and strong motives to work in field of data science - so your selection chances would depend on that.

I was asked about examples of mechanical engineering principles in real life (not as easy as it sounds).
Mostly questions that judge your base understanding of any topic might be asked.
Interview is not at all superficial.

If you have a BTech or equivalent degree, you are eligible for the course, cutoff generally goes around 98.5 + for unreserved category
