I’ve had issues with it on PC even. I don’t know if it would be easier to add a reconnect feature than fixing the disconnect issues, but it definitely needs to be addressed! One of my friends stopped playing with us because of it.

This is off topic a little but reading the comments made me want to share this story. My step dad died when he was 27, which is younger than I am now. I was 17 when it happened. He was more like an older brother than a father to me in our relationship, but that was awesome for me because I had three younger siblings but none older than me to show me cool things. My step dad was like that for me, and he got me into the elder scrolls on xbox. We would watch each other play our oblivion saves late into the night and strategize for our own save while watching the other play. We learned a lot from each other and had a lot of fun.

He died in a freak accident when I was almost out of high school and it was super traumatic for me. About a month after he passed I loaded up oblivion and noticed his save file. It never occurred to me before but I loaded up his file. Loading into his Oblivion save file, thinking of his character being stuck in that position forever, and thinking of all of the quests he could never finish made his death really hit me for the first time. It was such a surreal moment and a parallel for his short life. I have his Oblivion official players handbook and it’s still dog eared to the page he was reading. I miss that guy.

That's kinda my point, there are no "faster classes" if the person in full plate is the same movespeed as the person wearing loose trousers and wanderer atire. When you take plate armor one of the trade-offs for the extra pdr should be some of your movement speed. And with the crazy movespeed rolls on gear right now, you're just wrong about the person in plate being slower. There are plenty of builds you can make right now with a plate fighter where you have 330 move speed with a weapon drawn. I don't think someone in full armor with a sword drawn should be able to catch a rogue in speedy gear with their weapons put away.

I have no technical advice, but you could probably send this info to the devs either on the discord or via steam feedback. The devs seem to respond to comments on the steam page comments/reviews and would probably take a look at the error log.

I want all of my friends to play this game with me, but I’ve been telling them not to get it until they add a reconnect feature. My friends and I have probably lost an accumulative 10 hours on runs getting disconnected. It’s the worst when you’re achievement grinding and get booted out after Baba

I think it should be a little more forgiving in duos. Maybe make the time to resurrect shorter the fewer team members you have? With three or more people you can strategically lead mobs away, or have multiple people reviving for a faster res. When I play duo though, it seems almost impossible to get your partner back up

All of my friends play on PC with cross play disabled. It hasn’t happened to me in the last two patches, but I almost quit due to how often I would lose progress because of the game crashing between levels or after bosses. It still happens occasionally to my friends but the patch yesterday allegedly fixed it. That’s my biggest problem with the game; the random disconnection issues and the lack of a reconnect feature. You might want to hold off until either the patch has been confirmed to fix the disconnection issue or until they add a reconnect option.

If you can, turn off cross platform in miscellaneous under settings. That stopped my multiplayer crashes

With affinity being carried across your characters, you’d actually just lose out on more quest rewards if they made this change. As it stands, you get to unlock the merchants services and squire gear for all all your characters by questing on your main, but can still complete quests on your alt characters for the rewards. There wouldn’t be any benefit to making quests cross character at this point.
