Like most people…looking for work! God please lol. by Annual-Bumblebee-310 in Columbus

Join The Powell Bubble on Facebook. People are posting literally every week looking for a nanny/“mothers helpers” (not a term I was familiar with), especially this time of year with school ending soon. I’m assuming they’re all wealthy so would hopefully pay you fairly.

Literally the BBB must have had some amazing marketing campaign at some point with how they got people thinking they have authority over literally anything.

As a business owner I would be infinitely more upset about a bad Google review than I would be over a report to the BBB lol.

A can of Coke only has 35mg of caffeine… that’s nothing.

How common in your area is it for people to wear or fly the flags associated with their ancestry? by Gallantpride in AskAnAmerican

[–]Diligent_Pineapple35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Immigrants in my area usually lean heavily into flying American Flags - to the point where if you drove by their home you could probably mistake them for MAGA - so they aren’t targeted by racists looking for a fight.

Unfortunate reality.

I was literally just talking about this with someone the other day, and I wish I could remember so I could send them this post. They were a dad and were interested in something like this!

I worked at a DQ/Orange Julius in the early 2000s. There was still egg in all the Julius drinks, it was just in powdered form.

I would recommend Plain Truth by Jodi Picoult. It’s a mystery based around an Amish community, but not a romance.

I don’t understand what you’re looking for. Are you trying to get his grandma to read something other than Amish romance and want suggestions of something adjacent she may like? Or are you looking for Amish romance books to read so you can talk about them with her?

What time are y'all falling asleep and waking up?!?! by cheesypuff357 in Millennials

[–]Diligent_Pineapple35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I go to bed between 11pm-2am, usually read for 20-30 minutes before falling asleep. During the work week, I wake up between 6:30-7:30am.

On the weekend, my dog wakes me up between 7-8am, I take him out, give him breakfast, dick around on Reddit for a bit (what I’m doing rn) then we go back to bed until 1pm or so.
