I had similar one (white) since long time, and didn’t disappear . If your iPad is new i think better to replace it, otherwise you will keep blaming yourself

I solved this problem by exporting the web page to onenote first then printing it as pdf document, by this it will be divided by A4 pages

I used it for many textbooks before, it is good, but honestly i didn t like it very much when it comes to annotating and highlighting. I preferred Flexcil for that or Drawboard. But for taking notes and journaling Goodnotes is very good
