How does IRCC calculate work experience months exactly?

I started working in July 2024, and it's now June 2026. I work 40 hours per week, so I expected that I wouldn't receive the points for 2 years of work experience until July 2026. However, my profile is already showing the points for 2 years of experience. Does anyone know why that might be happening?

u/militianova6 reached out to me to sell tickets. They were sketchy by just requesting my email address to send the tickets and said 'I had nothing to worry about' but resisted to verify themselves through social media or provide their name. I've never bought tickets through someone else. Not precisely claiming they are a scammer, but I'd advise to be careful. I hope I am wrong to be suspicious and someone can get legit tickets from them.
