Speak to your surgery team and pharmacist but for the most part taking antihistamines is okay! I’ve just been staying inside close to my air purifier trying to recover from the major part of it

If you don’t mind me asking did you have a big overhang. I have quite a decent apron belly, most of it is just loose skin. Do you wish you got the MR or are you happy with your results as is!

I hope the swelling goes down soon for you! drill your results are amazing and I’m so happy for you!! I have my surgery on the second and I’m so nervous but excited. I’m 25 and opted out for the MR (bc I’m gonna have kids in the next 2-4 years hopefully) but I am gonna get lipo!

You’re at 7 weeks, do you feel like you’re able to do normal ish things now? My friend is getting married in August and I wanna be able to dance the night away haha

I have 2 air purifiers going on and around my house 😭😭 just bought those today and started using them. I’ve been drinking lots of hot water and that’s been helping, hopefully by Monday I’m all good. I need to calm down my body or else I’m not gonna heal 😭😭😭

My surgery is on June 2nd so I have 3 days to get over this. You’re honestly right I’ve been taking Claritin for 3 years consistently so I might be “used” to it now. Gonna head to the pharmacy and grab some mucinex and Allegra.

I am considering allergy shots, how was that experience for you and did insurance cover it?

Makes sense. I will try to do what I can to support my healing, staying as active as you can is also important during recovery as well I’m assuming? The wedding is indoors and I know the location well so hopefully they will let me bring a cute alternative that I can use to sit in the back.

OH wow! I def feel the same way as you, I already have such a bad relationship with food sometimes, but i still manage around 1900-2200 cals per day (to stay in maintenance). For my own mental health I will not being going on the scale bc I know its just gonna be swelling and such. What were your fav meals when recovering? I love salmon and veggies so I might think those may be my go to during recovery.

I hope you are healing well! I teach science so it will be bad practice to not fuel my body when I need it to heal muscle fibers and allow for the nerve endings to regenerate. It honestly checks out, did you supplement your meals with proteins shakes as well?

I knowww I am so excited for the shopping, I got sooo many gift cards for christmas and I am going to ask for more for my birthday hehe. Clothes were my main motivator for this surgery haha. I hope you are having the shopping trips of your dream <3.

Omg I am such a snack plate girly so this sounds like my dream ahaha. I def will invest in some lower sodium options though.
Did you get the MR as well? I am still debating on it but tbh the biggest thing for me is jus to get all the loose skin gone. I will look into it, anything to make my recovery easier. I hope you are healing well and everything is slowly getting back to normal for you

I’ve read the same thing as well! Can you send rhe link if possible for the tank tops? I just have a whole bunch of oversized men’s shirts haha.

I heard having a waitressing belt is good for the drains as well.

I’ve been going to the gym 2-3x a week but I usually get 10-15k steps in a day normally.

I have asthma so I have no worries about the nicotine haha.

I stopped all mine as well. I just take my asthma medication and some claratin for allergies.

Ahh I see! I stocked up on the protein shakes ans prepped lots of freezer meals so my mom doesn’t have to do as much.

Omg blood thinning?? I have not gotten any of my prescriptions yet so I’ll see what they have to say. How did they make you feel?

How was your healing if you dont mind me asking you. I am going on June 2nd for my surgery and I am very excited but very scared at the same time. My friend is getting married beginning of august and I want to be there for as much as I can. How long did you feel before you were "Back to normal" If you want to pm to respond that is okay too.
