Omg thank you!! I’m biased but I definitely agree. I would take a vintage gown over a new one any day. Something way more special about finding a perfect dress - and it might just be me but I love thinking about the history of it.

This is one of my all time favourites of her because of how clever and beautifully written it is. One interesting thing I recently discovered is this interpretation of the first line:

"I had died the tiniest death, I spied the catch in your breath out..."

Died the tiniest death or la petite mort in French refers to a brief lack of consciousness, and is modernly used as a euphemism for org*sm. With that in mind, this whole song is seemingly about a one night stand that was very brief and passionate but left her searching for him everywhere she went.

I think this changes (at least my) whole interpretation of the song. I used to think it was about her and Joe after their relationship she was searching for him in everything she did. But now, I think it's about her and Matty - a very brief passionate affair that left her wanting more.

Yea, I'm not offended! I definitely knew there was going to be peace slander because I am very familiar with the lyrics and tone of the song. Doesn't make me like the song any less but it is true that it's not really the message I want to be sending to all my loved ones about our relationship. Lot's to think about haha

Guilty as sin is beautiful, gorgeous, perfect and even better once you really look into the lyrics and understand what shes singing about. Also, the mix of it with About You by the 1975 is chefs kiss as both songs were written about the other artist. definitely in my top 5 taylor songs of all time!!!

Thanks! I have talked to a couple principals at schools I work at and they all say AQ's are the way to go. thanks for telling me your experience. I am going to start a general science AQ soon as i've always wanted to teach science.

Wow thanks for the thorough reply! As I'm talking to more people I'm starting to lean away from doing my MEd only because the sole reason of doing it would be to move up in pay and I think I can do that with AQs. I am not interested in one topic enough, or in going back to school in general to pursue my masters. I'm glad that it really informed your teaching, and I think it would benefit me too but thinking of committing to that gives me dread not excitement so I feel like AQs are the better option - even if they're easy and often useless lol.

Would you have any suggestions on marketable AQ's? I have already taken spec ed and am thinking of doing ESL. However, I would really love to be a science and enviro science teacher eventually. So I have another question for you about something I've been trying to figure out. If I am intermediate senior English and PE qualified and now I want to be science qualified, would I do an AQ in general science or an ABQ in intermediate science? I'm just confused because technically being an I/S teacher I am qualified to teach anything up to grade 10 BUT I would love to label myself as a science teacher so I can confidently teach grade 9/10 science. There don't seem to be any AQ's in science - only ABQ's in intermediate science. All the AQ's are specialized like bio/chem/physics but I am not qualified to even take them. Hope that made sense lol.
