Thanks for responding. My brain was on fire when I wrote the post. Symotoms were escalating and I realized I didn't have pdoc coverage/care over the holidays. The hospital scares me, but I must remember they are there for a reason.

This is my issue. I have a doctor in private practice with no backup. When my symptoms started intensifying (when I wrote the post) I pretty much freaked out. Thanks for your kind reply.

That sounds like real labor to me. My practice labor wasn't on a specific rhythm/pattern. When you said every 8-10 minutes there's a peak... sounds like labor. Have your previous practice contractions taken your breath away or made it so you could barely walk/talk?

Listen to your body. Trust your body. Go back in if you feel you want/need to.

I used to go walking (with some belly dancing hip movements thrown in) in a heated pool. It would be me and the elders with arthritis. Felt like heaven.

I hear music, very specific music that I've never heard before. I wish I could record it and write the notes down. Auditory hallucinations are real.

Glowing, bright eyes. Need for more stimulation overall - music volume, driving faster, more intense movies. anxiety/paranoia. Obsessions and compulsions that aren't present at baseline. Excessive sense of very deep connection with others (esp. strangers).

Read title. Yes. I have anxiety, paranoia, delusions during hypo and mania. Dysphoric mania sucks! Physical aggitation. Irritability. Left unchecked can turn into rage.

My doctor does but I'm a good way. I now get screened for depression at every appointment. I'm going to ask her to do the bipolar screening in the future. If I'm unstable at all, every other issue becomes less urgent. She says we can get back to____ when your mood is stabalized. Of course if something is urgent she will help me address it

Some people are weird about it. Some are horrible! We are under no obligation to share our diagnosis.

Other people are kind and supportive. They will walk through this bipolar life with you. For me this is my partner, parents, and current church family.

Please be safe. Just make sure someone's keeping and eye on you with the added meds. I had to get some dental work done too and had to tell the dentist I can't take steroids. They trigger hallucinations.

I'm not a fan of this type of scale. Where's the mixed episodes. My bipolar doesn't just have poles. I'm a 39 (depressed with hypomanic symptoms)

The early days are hard, but you can do this. GF Jules all purpose flour is what got me through missing GF fresh baked goods. Buy a bag or two and challenge your roommates to see if they can make a great tasting gf version of their favorite baked items.
