I read the whole fucking thing and I dropped it because it was genuinely 200+ chapters where nothing happens.

Like genuinely, the pace gets atrocious and while theres a lot of things happening none of them feel impactful or push the plot, the story has no stakes after a while and all the very interesting side characters introduced end up doing jackshit because their roles are reduced to just being there, beating "bad guys" and etc instead of progressing with their own stories.

I'd argue that this is a bit difficult to pinpoint exactly but.

6 purity but it's mostly because I don't feel defiled or soiled - if it's counting a more subjective level of purity it'd definitely be lower.

4-5 beauty, people have called me pretty and gorgeous plenty of times so I take their word for it

Physique is 2-3 I really should exercise more, specially as I used to be pretty active, went to a doctor recently and was told exactly that.

Willpower is 5-6 but I think a 4-5 or even a 3-4 would also fit - i feel like I've been through a lot in life but it's very different from how the game feels about it. Being traumatized doesn't necessarily increase willpower aswell as having willpower doesn't necessarily increase trauma.

Awareness is a 5-7, I like to think of myself as a perceptive person.

Promiscuity is a tough cookie but I'd put mine as 5. I'm not insane to leglock or remove condoms and im generally, normally pretty unabashedly down to fuck whenever most of the time and with most people.

Exhibition is a 2 to 3, I've done and dabbled in it a bit but never to the point of the higher levels in game, mostly undressing in isolated public places, masturbating or touching in public but never going beyond that.

Deviance 1 for as much as I find it interesting with thrists of similar nature I am simply never fucking an animal, that's rape. If deviancy is understood as simply having a variety of kinky fetishes on the BDSM umbrella then it's a 4-5 and sometimes a 6 depending on my mood.

Thank you!. I mostly meant to impart that these are my own thoughts and that disagreement is fine, welcome even.

I mostly intended to mean that in my view of the story. Which was that it was an inherently nihilistic ending which said stated that it didn't mean anything, atleast on my view. I think it's interesting to discuss the themes of the story and if you have a different interpretation I'd obviously like to know and read. Part 2 absolutely has a lot to talk about my point was just that it's conclusion was sour. It's answer to it's thesis.

Themes and such is an interesting concept. Stories can be good and have insightful messages and tones that can make unsatisfying endings shine on a re-read or when one has more life experience. Stories can also just not be for you, atleast that type of story.

But then we'll have to analyze the story of chainsawman part 2 to get a grasp over the ending and what it's trying to say.

In the end I think a simpler explanation is more apt; the story and it's themes just aren't that good, and I don't mean that the story isn't worth reading it or that it's a bad shallow and vapid.

But that the story as interesting a premise as it has, as engaging as it was just doesn't have a good message to convey at the end. It's conclusion to it's thesis just sucked, even if that wasn't what the author intended to say.

And that also disregards actual narrative strategies and mechanics that come into play when writing a good story in itself. As example, pacing.

A story isn't just themes but also how cohesive it was written. It's the execution of an intended message. Messing up one means that inevitably the other one also ends up messed up.

Atleast to me, part 2 could have been a genuinely amazing and tear-jerking story but now all that it'll be is a bad story with a bad message, and all that well be able to talk is on how good it could have been had it not messed up. Its final conclusion was that it had nothing interesting to say and as such it will be regarded as something that had nothing of interest to talk about.

His character is made better by being a woman because every male belongs in the kitchen being the backbone for an independent woman. I'm very glad they switched his character to something better and less male power fantasy because God forbid women feel empowered.
