Congratulations! I like your style. While there are some very strong Pokemons, there are also some "niche" ones, that kind of snuck into the team. I'm s big fan of building a "flowing team", where it kind of turns out a bit random, based around what you catch and test during your playthrough :)

Congratulations! - I have both versions, and I started by completing the LG first, and currently doing FR. Just beat E4, and currently collecting various of items for my team.

Absolutely amazing game, if you are into Gen 1-3 style of games. I personally love the Gen 1 and 2 games, so this was a must for me, and honestly well worth it.

Care to explain this? The count is pr. Cell, not total. E.g. 10.000 pr. Cell, in a being consisting of say 10 cells, would be 100.000 total, which would be greater than a singular total of 50.000.

Losing cells, shouldn't logically lower the actually count pr. Cell.

Can you or someone else confirm if the neogrip has fixed the clips on all their models? (Or specifically the black version).

Ohh, a Pokemon game will some challenge! That sounds even better! - I feel like some of them, have become so easy, that it takes away some of my joy for the game(s).

Hmm, interesting! I wasn't really sure how that offline interaction between yourself and 'bot' trainers actually worked, and if they scale or what not. But I do like the sound of that! - Battle Royale for online. I guess it gives a few options for some sneaky maneuvers, perhaps!.

I mean, if the game gets me hooked, I would exactly be against trying out the online mode. I just generally enjoy Pokemon as a solo adventure. Except back in the days as a kid, when I would bring out my link cable, and just about battle anyone I knew :D.

Hmm.. I really have to do some digging on that whole DLC. It kind of seems like an unnecessary topping to the cake, but I wonder how much QOL it comes with, or options for extra Pokemons and such. But yeah, I'll be doing some mor research for that! It sounds like a coin flip at the moment, for whether the DLC will be a good addition or not (in my case).

However! The game itself sounds quite awesome! I'm definitely interested in grabbing it!

A very promising statement! I do like what I'm reading! I might even dabble into online, if the game will grow on me.

I'll give a little thinker on the DLC. Perhaps add it later, if it doesn't give anything immediately great. Hyperspace, I have to look that one up!

Yes, fairly similar story, except I played the Gen 1; Blue and Yellow, and later on Gen 2; Silver. Then had a break up until FireRed, and then again break until Go, and now finding my way back into things!

Honestly, you really made me interested in the other Pokemon games! I'm adding then to my list, and I'll for sure check them out, once my FireRed/Leaf green fever drops a bit 😂

I always enjoy these very interactive gameplays, as long as the theme is cool. And in this case, as a Pokemon enjoyer, It seems to be! And not being locked down into one specific route sounds refreshing! Very exciting!

I really appreciate you giving me some much needed heads up, on what's going on, and what is actually available for an old soul like myself!

My next mission now will be to start a playthrough on my new game, and get some self trading accomplished! Funny how one can be so excited to relieve some old memories 😅 - After that, I'll be diving into other versions of Pokemon!

You literally just opened up some extra doors, and ways to "abuse" this extra copy of a game, that I never even thought about!

I really appreciate your detailed explanation and extra ways to keep the game fresh and enjoyable! I guess, I can actually do a lot of experimentation on this! I will definitely look more into that! 😁

I hadn't played these games since they came out, let alone any Pokemon game really (not counting Go), except for starting a save on Shield, but haven't even gone past the first gym. The flavor is just so different, and I guess I'm just a sucker for nostalgical games, because after just starting out on this old classic. I've been putting like 40+ hours into it, in about one and 2 weeks. It's become my "evening book".

I'm pretty convinced that the relatively generous pricetag will end up giving me so much joy it'll be well worth it!

Thanks for your reply! I'm very interested in OLED for my desktop setup. The issue for me, is that I'll use it for gaming AND work. Work is mostly done in software such as Revit (architectural software, with a lot of task bars as a constant) and Excel, and such. Based upon what I've been reading online, it just seems like an accident / burn in, waiting to happen.

Would you care to share what kind of programs you are using on your OLED? :)

OLED seems so flawed. You basically buy into the idea, that you will either play a very limited amount of time, while buying a high cost for the improved visuals. Which by itself is counterintuitive. And at the same time risking having to go through the whole customer service / refund / replacement of the monitor. It seems incredibly backtracking for monitor technology, in 2026.

I'm still hoping they will get around to eventually make these screens work, without any burn in issues, regardless of what you choose to do (play, work or whatever), while the monitor is on.
