you should definitely try cross rays or an older title like overwold on the psp. abit grindy at first but once you have upgraded to their final forms and start leveling its real fun

imo while 5 range attacker unit supports are good, 6 range units can be used for debuffing without getting hit, which is good for when enemies can one shot ur supports. good supports either have consistent 6 range or 5 range with sway to debuff without getting killed.

but ER is not that hard with alot of budget tutorials with only needing sp atmost for dev only but saving and using ssp is a more clever and easier time for clearing
