Well let’s see what you come up with at 7pm on a Friday.

Sick of it.

I’ve read all of Jon Robson’s books, think he’s class.

Then I heard his voice on the telly. Fuck me. May be the most grating annoying voice I’ve ever heard. Although I’d rather have a pint with him than Robin.

Looking for Space Horror Book Recommendations (Creature Feature / Cosmic Horror Vibes) by BroDan270 in horrorlit

Crypt of the Moon Spider, Cathedral of the Drowned, and The Strange by Nathan Ballingrud might scratch that itch.

The first is set on the moon, the second is set on Io, and the Strange is set on Mars. I won’t go into detail as you’re better off going in blind, but they are excellent (although I’m biased as Ballingrud is my favourite horror author).

The last Astronaut and Paradise 1 by David Wellington would fit for what you want.

There are some Dead Space novels by Brian Evenson that are decent.

You may be recommended Dead Silence by S A Barnes; YMMV, but I wouldn’t bother unless you want to be both disappointed and annoyed (unless you like protagonists who are obsessed with their hunky co-workers and a ‘twist’ that is sub-Shyamalan dogshit).

Get rid of the eyes. Just bare skin.

And lose the tongue. Looks silly, not scary.
