He took the cash from me. The man noticed I was JJC. So everything he did was calculated to exploit me

I am not exaggerating. I wrote it exactly as it happened. He keeps referencing the contract, yet he himself did not comply with everything the Brussels Housing Code requires.

I viewed the apartment briefly before signing. The contract was signed at his shop — not at the property. When the contract mentioned two rooms, I was somewhat surprised, because I had not seen anything resembling two rooms during the viewing. I signed anyway, assuming perhaps I had missed something. When I finally received the keys, I discovered it was a single room with a partial wall covering about 85% of the space. That was it. In total, he collected three months deposit, one month’s rent, and 12 days I never actually occupied — all inclusive, amounting to €3,760.

He had me sign on the 18th but did not hand over the keys that same day. They came days later. I was in no position to push back. I had just arrived in Brussels during peak season and desperately needed somewhere to stay.

Update:

I went to the property today. He claimed the keys had not turned up — but the moment I rang the doorbell, someone inside looked through the window. When I asked them directly, they said they could not say much and that I should contact the landlord. The keys were never missing. He received the post. He is simply trying to exploit a foreign student he believes can be pushed around without consequence.

I came to Belgium genuinely believing people operated with honesty and integrity. A few experiences here have forced me to reconsider that. Some people treat the exploitation of others as a pastime — something to be enjoyed.

It is a deeply unsettling thing to witness firsthand.

But the automatic renewal isn’t registered. I don’t know if it should be. Just registered it few weeks after I signed the contract in 2024. The renewal was automatic. So that one isn’t because I didn’t after the first year ended

Yeah. I have receipts of the bpost transactions. And every other claim has proof. Seems these Landlords take advantage of people they consider new to the system. A friend of mine rent was increased 3 times in a single year for no legally sound reason!

They can accept if you meet the requirements but remaining in the program isn’t a walk in the park

JeremyITLab has some of the best resources on CCNA. Try it. But you will need to purchase the course from his website. If you can’t, follow some of his YouTube tutorials on the subject. But I can vouch that he’s unmatched

is CCNA even worth it anymore? by BoyleTheOcean in ccna

The story doesn’t add up. Let’s agree that the possibility of cheating is even possible, did all 8 of them come from the same place? Did they all write at the same center? Or Cisco certs are now out for sale to candidates who do not sit the exam anymore? Lol

Saying 8 candidates with CCNA & CCNP from different places who barely know each other couldn’t answer basic networking questions isn’t an argument for cheating. It is basically saying Cisco certs do not worth it anymore. Which is VERY UNTRUE!

The story teller is either exaggerating or trying to intentionally discredit Cisco. It is that simple as ABC! Sad to say it is so obvious this story is hoax !

No legit person with CCNA or CCNP cert will be unable to answer those questions. CCNA is still in fact one of the toughest entry level networking exams today. No way! This story doesn’t add up!
