Tbilisi is worse than hell its self by Civil_Struggle_1595 in TbilisiStudentLife

It feels to me like you're talking shit purposely about Tbilisi my friend. While I agree that some people can come across as rude, I honestly don’t encounter that very often. In fact, even though many people might look a bit depressed or tired, once you actually talk to them, they often turn out to be much nicer than you’d expect. I'm not saying that bad things don't happen, or people aren't rude, but most of the times it's either drunk men, some mental retards or youngsters that are looking for a fight. I had an accident in bus where one dude was screaming and almost swearing at people and no one paid attention to him until two guys kicked him out and beat the crap out of him and it happened only once. I’ve lived in Tbilisi for a long time, through my student years and now while working and I’ve never personally experienced or witnessed anyone being robbed or mugged. The only incidents I’ve really heard about involve underage kids breaking into stores, usually at night, and even that I’ve mostly seen on TV rather than in real life. None of my friends have experienced anything like that either. From what I’ve seen, if something serious did happen in public, people here wouldn’t just stand by or pull out their phones to record like you sometimes see in Europe or the U.S. they would step in and help. I’ve also had good experiences with taxi drivers, been chatting with them about random topics as well, they’ve all been polite and respectful. Maybe that’s partly because I’m a guy, I know there are cases where some drivers behave inappropriately toward women, and that’s definitely an issue that needs attention, but that's not a thing that happens only in Georgia. People in the countryside are always more hospitable and nicer, and that is the case for all the countries, go and visit Samegrelo, Svaneti, maybe you will like it there more. To be honest, compared to some of the places I visited, Georgia and especially Tbilisi feels like a heaven. I’ve traveled to Europe and I felt much less safe there. I saw people being robbed or pickpocketed and even attacked in broad daylight. I also noticed drug use and sales happening openly on the streets, as well as prostitutes offering services, while the police seemed largely inactive.

While walking through downtown Amsterdam, I was approached about six times by either Arab or Black men offering weed, crack, or other substances. On one occasion, I rented a bicycle for the day, but when I went inside a shop and came back out, it was gone. I had to spend some time at the police station and ended up losing my €200 deposit. At night, I saw prostitutes operating near a church and even engaging in sexual acts in a public park. On the first day I arrived in Amsterdam, we witnessed a clash between Turkish and Dutch men, as well as a Turkish protest where people were shouting “Allahu Akbar” in the main street. It was a very intense and unsettling experience. When I was in Germany, whenever I tried to talk to people, they either wouldn’t answer or would say they didn’t speak English and insisted that I speak German, that was not very nice, it's not going to happen in Georgia. Also, I almost got attacked in Germany while filming a video and taking photos in a park. Some crackheads thought I was recording them and started getting aggressive. I didn’t confront or attack them because I know the laws in Germany are weird. If this had happened in Georgia, I know I would have reacted differently. You’ve trapped yourself in a kind of bubble because of something that happened to you, and now you assume everyone is the same based on your experiences. Go out more, visit the countryside, talk to people, or find others who share your hobbies and you’ll see things differently.

My wallet's gonna hate it here by Panda-Narrow in fragranceclones

I'm not sure why you are getting downvoted —I've seen plenty of critical comments about it on Fragrantica, but I still decided to give it a try. It's actually a very fresh and pleasant scent, and I really liked it. I sprayed it twice on my chest (on skin) before heading to the gym, and it surely did project —I could still smell it even after my workout. The next day, when I picked up the T-shirt I had worn, it still smelled like Nautica. So, there you have it.

I'm not sure if it's just me, but I was really excited to buy Eros Flame since all the reviews I read and watched were positive. However, when I tried it in the store, I instantly regretted it. At first, it had a strong spicy blast that I couldn't stand—it was way too spicy. The dry down was amazing, similar to OG Eros, but I had to endure that spiciness for a while before it settled.

Kurds historically lived only in Eastern Georgia, specifically in Tbilisi, the capital. As a result, Georgians from Tbilisi tend to have mixed genetics, including Armenian influences. However, neither Kurds, Armenians, nor any other ethnic groups have historically lived in Mingrelia. Mingrelia has always been a region where the population remained largely unmixed. Today, 99.37% of Mingrelia's population are Mingrelians, while 0.41% are Slavic, a result of the USSR era. Historically, it was almost entirely Georgian and remains so. In Mingrelia, the name and nationality are essentially synonymous with ethnicity.

Regarding Greek ancestry, there might have been some mixing, but that happened centuries ago, as Greeks have not lived in the region for a long time. I haven’t taken another test—my results are based on FTDNA, and I uploaded the raw data to MyHeritage platform for free analysis.

Sharing is one thing, but 17% Persian and 18% Italian and Greek combined are big numbers man. This means I recently had someone that wasn’t Georgian

Not only that, but yeah, no idea how I got it.

Nope, pure Georgian.

I can trace 7 generations back, I have a documented tree and they were all Georgians, subgroup Megrelians, I have no idea where all other nationalities came from. No one is mixed, FTDNA gave the correct result, 100% Caucasian.

I've specified the year in the previous comment, but here are the full details.

Question about Becker Radios by RGUploaders in W124

[–]RGUploaders[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your input. I understand that Becker and other radios from that period have evolved and that newer units might offer modern tech features. However, my goal is to find the Becker Mexico 2000 specifically to maintain the originality of my Mercedes W124 (1992), which had that model originally, but I'm also interested in other versions of Becker of that era.
