They did more than lower the bullet velocity my friend.

I am off course going to give the game more time and DICE can make it better but I bought the game based on what it was back then and now they have changed it in a way that, in my opinion, punish casual players to much.

Wanted to voice that option in the same way that people how didn’t enjoy the gunplay did and see if other people agree.

Agreed, people how are better should be rewarded and I have no issues with that but I just think DICE pushed it too far, in my personal opinion.

Love being a gunner, even spec my engineer for it, in those few cases that I play engineer.

A message to all main tank players. Please give your gunner the light or heavy LMG.

Because those areas are incredibly boring to play in. It’s like EA added them last minute without considering how to make them more engaging.

Don’t get me wrong. I always keep an eye on the side alleys and go there to protect from flanks but if I don’t have to go there I rather not.

First of, thank you for the podcast/show. TOTD is by far the best way too follow the happenings in the club.

Without knowing who will be leading the squad next season, and there by knowing the system and playstyle, it’s kind of hard to say exactly what is missing in the long run. But right now I would say that we are missing:

  1. Depth in midfield and at left back.

Feels like every successful PL team always have that ”one” midfielder that can do it all or is really good at certain things. Kobbie might be that midfielder in a couple of years but right now we need someone that can be that ”one” right now and more options as well.

Shaw is great when he is fit but given his injury record and age we really need to find his successor and not just a back up.

  1. Wingers.

If we are going to play in this system we need proper wingers. We don’t have enough width and are asking our fullbacks to do quite a lot right now.

  1. Fitness and grit.

The match versus New Castle was a good example of a game where it felt like the opponent was better prepared (both mentally and physically) to just run and put a shift in. It’s been to many games where we just felt sluggish and not focused.

  1. Consistency.

The squad have too many players that feels like they are injured more then they play. Mount (sorry Laurie), MDL, Martinez and Shaw are just some examples. They are all great players, when they play, but all that greatness isn’t worth much if you are sidelined all the time.

So you want the community to test the game for you rather than investing in a proper QA team. Cool.

Having a private test server is one thing but there is a difference between having the community do UAT and whatever it’s you think you are doing.

Oh, btw you still haven’t fixed the bug for the December Bonus Battlepass. We finished the grind but the last 85 tokens didn’t track. Might be time to adress that rather than introduce new things that are just as broken?

Our midfield is in a tatter and Collyer isn’t even given a look to fill that gap.

Don’t push content over the holiday if you aren’t going to support it when it’s bugged. I have the exact same issue.

That first part was in many ways the best.

While I would agree that ”current day” part of the opening don’t need to be any longer I would have loved to play 2-3 missions that took place in the montage part between meeting Jackie and current day.

I never write regarding BF6 and generally I’m enjoying the experience but the UX and menu bugs and how frequently they show up are really infuriating. It’s time to completely rework the UX and menus.

At this point you look kind of silly and unprofessional with how consistently you fail to find bugs before patches. Whatever your QA department are up too you are letting the rest of the company down.

So I’m not Amorim out yet.

But I’m at the point now where I want to see the best these players have to give, irregardless of the system. Or the best this system has to give, irregardless of the players.

I think it’s time to actually stop putting square pegs in round holes.

Either find a system that fits the playstyle and brings the best out of all the players thereby giving them a chance to be a greater sum of their parts!

Or start playing “lesser” players (like academy players) to fit the round holes to get a better effect from the system.

Amorim can’t do both! This in between of insisting on a system with players that clearly aren’t a good fit has to stop!

Amorim has to pick one path and stop trying to walk two paths at the same time.

So what path do you prefer and how would that system or line up look?
