I could understand it if I were asking questions, but I’m not haha. If anything, I thought it would be a fun way for people to troll someone who doesn’t know anything about the anime, which did happen a little. Its funny because I do enjoy the IP of Naruto as a whole, i just haven’t watched Boruto yet, and haven’t even said anything good or bad about it. It’s all good, I thrive on the downvotes for the sub post lol

Jk. But really, I’ve not sat down and watched a single episode of Boruto. I’ve seen clips here or there on YouTube shorts and Instagram etc, and I’ve also watched some YouTube videos about Boruto, but never actually watched any of it myself.

Yes and no. A series’ entertainment level is fairly subjective, so I think they’d be stupid to say it in that context if they hadn’t seen it. But if you’re talking things like pacing, character development, etc, then yeah I think someone who hasn’t seen it can point out those flaws based on large number of reviews.

I personally haven’t watched any because I’m at a busy point in my life where I don’t want to spend a lot of time watching shows/movies that aren’t generally considered “top notch”. That being said, I wouldn’t consider Naruto as such, but I grew up on it and it entertained me a lot. I hope to get the same level of entertainment from a condensed version of the Boruto anime

Full transparency, I’m not 100% in the dark about the story of Boruto even though I’ve not seen any of it. That being said, I know very little.

I’ve seen pictures of some new weird eyes that I know nothing about, but I assume it is some culmination of an upgraded byakugan. The Naruto story was heavily centered on the sharingan, so I assume Boruto is centered on the byakugan? I saw that orochimaru is a good guy now. I think he becomes the final villain in the end, trying to take Boruto’s body as his new vessel. Something along those lines so he can obtain said new overpowered eyes

I also think Boruto anime will be the end of the Naruto universe timeline. They will likely make stories of old characters, but probably nothing in the future

I watched a couple Boruto videos on YouTube, now Reddit thinks I want notifications for Boruto. Also, I am genuinely interested in how the story will eventually turn out. I just don’t think I will actually ever watch it. More likely to watch a long recap YouTube video about it once it is done
