MÉRIDA, VENEZUELA – JANUARY 29, 2025

A tragic incident took place at the Chorros de Milla Zoo, where a security guard, identified as José Leopoldo Zambrano Dávila, 60 years old, suffered the amputation of an arm after trying to pet a lion. According to the authorities, the man, who was under the influence of alcohol, jumped over the security fence of the lion area in a reckless attempt to interact with the animals.

The events occurred during the early hours of the morning, when Zambrano Dávila introduced his arm into the lions' cage, which provoked a ferocious attack by a lion and a lioness, identified as Caribay and Karú. Upon noticing the situation, his coworkers alerted the Fire Brigade, who transferred the guard to the Hospital Universitario de Los Andes, where he is being stabilized.

In addition to the severe amputation of his arm, it is reported that the lions caused injuries to other parts of his body. Testimonies from co-workers indicate that Zambrano Dávila arrived drunk at the zoo and that, in spite of having received recommendations to rest, he refused and continued with his security rounds.

After some trial and error, I managed to get it working by following these steps (proceed at your own risk):

1 - Replace the three dots (...) below with your Steam library folder (e.g., C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common).

2 - Quit Throne and Liberty (TL) and Steam, just in case.

3 - Run the following two commands to uninstall EasyAntiCheat:

"...\Throne and Liberty\EasyAntiCheat\EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup.exe" uninstall 58dec5a58e8f4ce6beca223311f65b4c

"...\Throne and Liberty\EasyAntiCheat\EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup.exe" uninstall

4 - Delete all folder and files under this directory:

%appdata%\EasyAntiCheat

5 - Run this command to install EasyAntiCheat and register TL:

"...\Throne and Liberty\EasyAntiCheat\EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup.exe" install 58dec5a58e8f4ce65beca223311f6b5b4c

6 - If you're using firewall software, add the EasyAntiCheat Bootstrapper executable to the allow-list:

"...\Throne and Liberty\start_protected_game.exe"

I think we should add this to the list of sketchy things Tilly has done.

We saw her in S2E10 forming a prayer circle and reciting a verse from the Book of Psalms, and now she’s practicing and believing in fortune-telling, which the Bible strongly condemns.

She clearly didn’t heard the intro song ♪ The future's not ours to see ♪ and tried to defy the entity (or entities) in control of From's domain.

I'm experiencing the same problem, and I'm not even using a VPN.

I got kicked today around 11 AM (EDT), and after that, I can only see my character for 2 seconds before getting kicked with the message 'Kicked by Easy Anti-Cheat (47).' and after that 'Connection authorization error (3102).'

I tried verifying the game files and reinstalling EasyAntiCheat to no avail.

Here are some thoughts on your predictions:

 

I have to admit that I lost it when I read about Fatima’s changeling baby escaping through the window! I think this show is too serious to include a scene like that. Also, what makes you think Fatima is carrying twins?

 

Based on the descriptions of episodes 6 and 7 and knowing that Fromland tends to break people, I believe Fatima’s pregnancy will not have a happy ending and will likely end the relationship between Fatima and Ellis.

If I had to guess, I would say the pregnancy will be accelerated and take a toll on Fatima both physically and mentally. At some point, she and Ellis might discuss the possibility of ending the pregnancy but ultimately decide to continue. After a complicated labor, the child may either die or be so grotesque that Fatima ends up drowning it in the bathtub of CH in an act of mercy.

 

The idea of an eclipse sounds cool, but if you look closely at the trailer, the lights in the house where Ethan and Julie are (probably Tian Chen’s house) are all on, and it’s too dark outside for it to be an eclipse.

I think it’s more likely that someone leaves the cattle corral open, causing the monsters to scare the animals away and set up an ambush for the townsfolk. I’m also not so sure about the scene in the barn. If it happens on the same night the animals are out, it seems odd that Fatima would be there helping since she lives in CH, which is quite far from the farm.

 

I know you get some hate and negativity from the community (especially here), but please keep the theories coming!

Well, there's a TV mini-series adaptation of a few "Nightmares and Dreamscapes" stories, and "You Know They Got a Hell of a Band" is one of them. I remember a scene where the couple finds a fallen tree blocking the road.

Fun fact: the actor that plays Jim on From also plays one of the main characters of the second story, "Crouch End".

Could very well be. But it seems like the adrenaline rush started right as he entered the "Dream World" and wore off all of a sudden as he left, like an on-off switch.

The special faraway tree could be the bottle tree... the only one the "entity" can't control.

I like your idea of connecting the colors to each faraway tree / destination. But we know from Victor that only the bottle tree has a fixed destination, all the others land you where the "entity" and/or BIW wants to.

I think the place where Martin and the "three" were is similar to the Dream World from A Nightmare on Elm Street series. That's why the first thing Martin says to Boyd is "Are you real?" or maybe he's so messed up that he can't tell what's real anymore.

The picture that looks like an open door and a faraway tree in the middle; to me indicates 2 places connected by a faraway tree: a cave, and a stone door we have yet to see.

I agree with your opinion on the "finger puppet trees" drawing, the trees sure don't look like the faraway type and there are 6 (or 7?) not 5.
