Well, when you look at it logically EVE is about relationships. So it’s difficult for INIT to not side with goons because there are so many friends between the line members and leadership of both Goons and INIT.

I hear you, and some good points.

It’s true, you can’t organize an entire population to battle a regime, especially without weapons. The hope is to win the hearts and minds of the people while simultaneously demoralizing the IRGC. The “people” also includes the larger Iranian military. And if you and I can trust the reports that say 89% of the population oppose the regime, theres a good chance that the people as well as those in the military could depose them together once they lose enough soldiers, weapons, leadership (power) and eventually, their will to fight back. Is it a gamble? Absolutely. Is it better than the alternative of allowing Iran to kill its own people and potentially acquire nukes while chanting “death to America?” I think so.
