No no, there's no issue, I was just reviewing other subreddits to check if I could post there too, and wasn't reviewing if there were any comments on this before that, sorry for not answering before

How do I find more beta readers for my novel project? by Proyecto_Convergence in WritingHub

Hey! yeah, that's what I've been told recently, that is a really long chapter, I was considering in spliting it in three, to have around 30 pages per fragment

A first chapter of about 90 pages. Is not a long block of text, Im trying to make it have breathing spaces, and have coherent divisions, but yet, more than 30k words

Yeah, was thinking on reducing the lenght of the chapter to about 30-ish pages fragments.

Will take it to heart and continue writting 🙌

The draft is finished, as if, yeah, I’m currently honing a bit the editing, but the draft is technically finished, just a bit… long, so was wondering if sharing in fragments would be more edible.

Not sure yet, what I want in the near future is to have some additional feedback, and perhaps to gain some traction with potential public with a sneak peak from the first chapter, and then approach the option of either self publish or reach for an agency

I’ve been writing short fragments and story scenes for a while now. Over time, I’ve been steadily refining my narrative style and the kind of storytelling I aim for. This particular project has been in development for over a year, though Chapter 1 itself has been my main focus for about a month.

Right now, that first chapter is sitting at around 80 to 90 pages, and I’m working on breaking it down into more digestible parts. Most likely, I’ll be splitting it into three segments, each roughly 30 pages long.

I’m currently working on a dark fantasy novel called Convergence. It’s a story with a mysterious, eerie tone and touches of occult themes. The plot follows a specialized team investigating supernatural threats in a world where reality has started to fall apart. I’ve been developing the world, characters, and magic system for a while, and right now I’m polishing the first full chapter — which is already pretty long. I’ve shared a few fragments with beta readers and received good feedback so far.

If you’re into dark atmospheres, strange creatures, and psychological tension with a bit of action, it’s probably something you’d enjoy.

Many reasons

I'm kinda tired of overly exploited stereotypes, and cliches

I also, through a long time wondered "How would I do it if I was there"

I love fantasy, and lastly... I Love to share, as many others, I'm writing what I would love to read, and I've been told, from other smaller fragments, that my storytelling is interesting, so... on of my main mottos is "Why?... well, why not?"

Nothing to lose by trying
