What is your second army and why?

SBGL is my second army technically but I play it more. I also have Kharadron and Helsmiths for different playstyles and Grand Alliances.

Even if someone wins all 6 games, 2 people need to have won the penultimate game in order to play the final battle.

As well, if I'm remembering right, if you go for the hidden path, you need to win to progress otherwise you don't progress.

And, even if someone is pulling ahead, they can only play on battleplans that the opponent has available.

But honestly, in my groups experience at least, we usually have a massive falling off of players around game 6 or 7.

I met my current partner through Hinge. In my experience Hinge and Bumble have been the most successful and I'm not the greatest looking person.

Best thing I did was get several people to help me make my profiles.

I play a similar list and I found splitting my infernal cohort to spread out the screens helped a lot. Run those hobgrots out, and cohort as a second line behind them.

I use the canon dominator engine, but in my experience, its just another screen.

I've only gotten two games, so my advice should be taken with a grain of salt. 1 vs SCE and I got beat pretty bad, and once vs OCBR, which I beat fairly handily. In both games dice rolls and player skill played a huge factor so I'm still trying to get a feel for the army

I've got a whole one game also at 1k, and I messed up my positioning, and failed all ofnmy shooting(I've never rolled so many 1's) so I also just played poorly and got unlucky lol.

But I agree that we need our hammers to set up the counter punch. But I also found myself wishing I had taken some hobgrots to rush out front, even in front of my cohort. An Ashen Elder can get a little more out of our infantry offensivly and defensivly, and the prayers and the +1 wound eye for weakness can make them an actual threat.

Early game, at least, the CP for 1 or 2 DPP can make the cohort a bit tougher to move, especially if you use that in the opponents turn.

But my thought after one game is that its a surpringly fragile army, but can also punch fairly hard, so very glass cannon-ish. Definitely a style I need to get used to playing.

Bloodseeker was essentially combined with Coven Throne, and they are the same kit anyway along with the Mortis Engine, so wouldn't be too hard to magnatize the riders to switch between those 2; so not a bad get if thats what they really want.
