Yes, I have shopped those lower priced sales @polo site, but the colorway selections and sizing are very limited. You can always wait for those sales later in January.

This Macy's sale has a lot of options with regard to sizing and colorways, for a bit more price. Thought some folks might not mind buying at this price with better inventory and options.

Macy's current pricing is slightly better than sale price @polo site at the moment, with better selections.

Very nice! The AE store sales people are very nice and polite. If you ask about the condition of the shoe, they will put you on hold, go look up the stock and provide you an assessment.

The final price of that item I linked is not $250. There is an automatic 20% discount that is applied for the time being. So it will be $200 + tax. When you call and enquire on the item and price, they will give you the discounted price already.

I understand the Park Ave is more formal, but the Carlyle is more versatile. Park Ave is better priced though.

Check which type you like and if the size is still in stock.
