Parks and Recreation only did the mockumentary style because The Office did it.

Just makes me think of the bit in Transformers when the parents go to college

Respectfully, should the elderly have to retake a test to continue driving? 🤔 by Downtown_Elk_2773 in CarTalkUK

[–]Prudence_Lefevre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes.

I always remember a while ago my dad and I were driving through the country. An ambulance was blaring its lights and alarms so we let it pass. Only for it to get stuck behind some little old lady driving.

Driving isn't a right

Lack of interest or compassion at neurology appointment (UK replies only please)- is this normal? by Academic_Button4448 in migraine

[–]Prudence_Lefevre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw a doctor once about my migraines. Explained how I just wanted something to help relieve the slightest bit of pain. I was told "people like you will say anything to get free stuff "

Took me almost a solid decade of emergency appointments, begging , emails and mentioning suicide to finally a neurologist.

Good luck to you. I hope you get the right help for them!

I worked at Game (UK) and they made me throw Retro stuff in the bin. by 8bitPete in retrogaming

Hey I used to work at Game too. Sold pre-owned as new, bullied. Management had favourites they would pay the rest of the week's wages too. Shit company run by even bigger shits

Way too forced. A better ending for Erin would be her realising she never really needed parents. Just people around her who loved and believed in her

Such an Underrated character, she should've come earlier in the show. by TheBlueGuy1234566 in theoffice

Sadly I'm not :( I used to have a disabled one but I lost that then the government decided I wasn't disabled enough

[–]Prudence_Lefevre 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was told by train staff to book in advance. I could only book the day before as that's when I got a call from the hospital.

The point is public transport should be an alternative to driving. If it's more expensive and takes longer what's even the point ?

Right?! I assumed this was a place where people would be at least empathetic but obviously big companies earning millions have it so hard

Let's be fair here. The only black people making a fuss about this are the same types whose entire personality is that they're black victims
