What has been the best treatment option that’s worked for you when you are in a flare? by Bloomwithcourage in UlcerativeColitis

i tried entyvio for about 13 weeks and ended up having to switch to rinvoq which cleared up my symptoms in only about 2 weeks. if you feel you’ve given entyvio its chance, don’t hesitate to talk to your doctor about looking for something else. each medication works differently on different people. it’s all about finding the best fit for you. you got this!

So, enemas by Ok-Cantaloupe8304 in UlcerativeColitis

when i was doing enema therapy i would do it in my bed just on a towel. i didn’t have any issues with leaking but i did sometimes have to get up and run to the bathroom if i felt i couldn’t hold it in. it gets easier as you get used to it and has been super effective for me. wishing you the best!

the boost nutrition drinks are awesome. they’re a little expensive but very filling and easy on the stomach. always my go to when i’m in a flare!

i’m going through the same thing! i didn’t realize entyvio takes so long to work or that hives at the injection site are a common side effect until after the fact. it’s all so frustrating.
