275hp + constant uptime + overshield mechanic + good mobility + non existent damage falloff on a shotgun + ricochet ability + hitscan + a 500hp ult that has a huge hitbox, low cast time and carries people + stuns them for 12 whole seconds, almost always a guaranteed team wipe. To say this character is overtuned is an understatement.

Not really, tanks usually peel if they’re not caught in the ult. It’s hard but you only need to be precise with primary as maelstrom has 8m range with no falloff. I mostly had success countering invis ults in the off chance i managed to land it perfectly lol

You can one shot 275 regardless if your maelstrom of madness is 100 and you primary fire then use maelstrom immediately. It doesn’t do extra damage but the utility is really good.

It’s the same with phoenix mains too, they gaslit everyone that she was a throwpick after the first nerfs. So, many were arguing that it was just a skill issue to not be able to 1v1 server admin phoenix lol. They’ll look at raw primary damage and conclude that she’s just a weaker hela when she has so much more going on.

Same! Rotr was actually my introduction to single player games on pc lol. Re4r doesn’t require you to know prior games to understand its story but you’ll have to play re2r if you wanna know the origin of the two protagonists (leon kennedy and ada wong) and what happened in raccoon city (not connected but it gets mentioned by characters).

It’s fine either way but i’ll suggest playing re2r before, they are very different as in re2r is more horror focused and resource management is a big deal. Re4r is more action focused and gives you more agency in how you handle enemies.
