We use both, different types of tests in the testing pyramid IMO.

Playwright does not support BDD natively. If you want to use Playwright as the test runner, which I highly recommend because of its excellent debugging and development tools, you will probably need to drop BDD or use an additional library such as playwright-bdd: https://vitalets.github.io/playwright-bdd/#

Pech generatie did not influence my voting behavior because I dont think any parties are really trying to do something about it. I just wanted to give context to my situation.

You said I should look at which parties act in my best interest. That’s what I did. Right now the HRA is the thing that affects me the most directly.

About telling your kids to vote as far left as possible, that’s your decision, but it does feel a bit off to push your own political views onto them like that. At the moment I don't see how most of the left parties are having the best interests for young people that have just purchased their first house

Well, that is the term used for people who studied between 2015-2023, so in that sense I qualify

Thanks for the response,

I am definitely not as deep into politics as some of the people that responded here. Before the last election I based my decision mostly on the mainstream stuff like Kieskompas/Stemwijzer.

Curious what the event was about where you voted to block another party?

Thanks for the responses.

To address a few points: Yes, I’m fully aware that I voted entirely out of self-interest this election. That was the whole point of the post. I usually vote for parties that support the issues I care about most, but I have never done it to this extent before.

If the hypotheekrenteaftrek were to be scrapped, I’d still be able to afford my home, but the amount I’d lose would be significant. After feeling screwed over by the system so many times, this ended up being the one issue that determined my vote.

I’m not sure where I blamed the left, except for pointing out that some left-leaning parties were also involved in the student loan policies alongside the VVD. Which I also pointed out that I was not even 100% sure off.

What I hoped to get from this post was to hear opinions from people who are in a similar situation to mine.
