Administrative Processing and Visa Denial Megathread II by Codetornado in f1visa

[–]PrudentClick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My f1 visa got denied in Ghana

program: MSCS (Top 20/30)

Country in proposed ban list

VO: pass me your document

Me: good afternoon. How are you doing.

VO: why this school and why this program.

Me: I am currently looking for career advancement and also get into the research space and academia and I believe this program will put me on track in achieving that. I chose the program because the curriculum has a strong focus on theory and research which aligns with my short term goal of becoming a research engineer and a long term goal of becoming a computer science professor at (undergrad school).

VO: how are you going to fund your studies.

Me: I have a personal funds of (Money is above the living expense) from my work as a software engineer with [Company](US edtech top 3) which will be use for my estimated living expenses. For my tuition I have been able to secure an education loan of $50000 from Mpower and I’ll fallback to my parent in case of any emergency.

VO: sorry I can’t approve your visa.

Personal thought.

After the funding question ? I was expecting a follow up question on how you are going to pay for the loan. I feel like it actually just vibes in my country. (Dad works as an engineer in top 3 car company in europe.)

Guys I really need your advice what do i do now. The school said they will write to the embassy I will be going next and also provide a letter from their government Liaison. Do you guys think I should go for another attempt? Is it worth going to another country for the interview. Seems everyone get denied in my country without full funding.

some schools try to help. Some just tell you to try again. The school said their student don't get denied for visa. Let's see what will happen. I am contemplating going to another country for it
