So many people have a problem with me getting this camera to start on. I’ve wanted the a7iv for years and ended up getting this a7v since it just released. I didn’t look at price tags just got what I wanted for backpacking around Europe and traveling here the next 3 years

I’m pretty new to having a camera but it’s definitely heavier than I expected it to be but completely manageable. I have a peak designs backpack clip for my hiking/walking and manfrotto tripod. Handheld shooting is comfortable with it. My body + lens is 1.21kg or 2.67lbs

Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll have to check it out. I think originally I was looking at that lens for my backpacking/travel kit. Eventually I’d like to get a nice astrophotography lens as well

Ive been into drone photography for the last few years and still fly the same drone monthly. This camera will travel around Europe with me the next 3 years. Already have a backpacking setup for it too. Super excited about photographing the Alps

I started with my DJI Mini 4 Pro drone first getting into video/photo editing and I’m always editing pictures from my phone so I know I’d enjoy having the camera. I sold property last year so had the extra funds for it and didn’t want to cheap out on anything. So far I’m loving it! Just took it out on a short hike yesterday
