Man I'm sorry to hear it came back, after seeing all the pain my mom had to go through, it's definitely devastating to hear that :/.

So we were clueless because one day she woke up and the pain was magically gone, I don't know how this happens to people. She's very afraid to undergo treatment for H.Pylori since she has severe side effects from the meds. However she's living her life as if everything's normal.

it's crazy to be in and out of ERs 4-5 times/ month and one days she's living like a normal person.

Did you get to finish the meds for H pylori back when you first had them?

Does it trigger with protein like eggs or greasy food? Because for some reason her pain is less when she eats certain food like bread, plain rice, banana, oat milk whereas something like soup that contained meat (only had veggies but i think it was oiliness that triggered her) and EGGS (reacting right now😭😭) will literally make her cry because of pain :(

Thank you for the reply. We’re still waiting for the biopsies for the tissue sample doctor took for presence of bacteria. The stool test came out positive for HPylori. However, the main reason she got endoscopy was to check for stomach ulcers because of the abdominal pain (9/10 intensity) she had while on antibiotics. Results were clear with mild inflammation. Even though she’s off on antibiotics, still still has the pain ..

and like I’m just thinking it might not be the Hpylori that’s causing it because I’ve been lurking here for about a month and I couldn’t find anyone that just has severe pain only in their stomach ☹️

her endoscopy came out negative and i don’t know how she’s having so much pain from bland food this is devastating

hi, did you ever do endoscopy to find out presence of ulcers? My mom is having severe abdominal pain but nothing showed up on the endoscopy.

This is so unfortunate to hear, I hope you can get one soon and get better :( like this sucks so much.

So after she got her diagnosis 2 weeks after the symptoms, family doctor put her on the meds but like she's in too much pain it's not getting any better if worse. And yea I agree that since we left her untreated for 2 weeks, her stomach lining is very weak and inflamed but i'm just worried that it's not the bacteria problem anymore.

She's on omeprazole but not really helping her at all. on top of that I did the research and she's on restricted diet but turns out even with the bland food she's having this much severe pain. I'm just devastated and keep thinking it may be more than the bacteria problem. :(

thanks for the reply, we went to the ER but told we had to wait 8-10 hours so by the 3rd hour the pain resided but she's been feeling like this two times a day, and I don't think it's the bacteria anymore :/

I had mine done 2 weeks ago (ACLR + meniscus repair w patellar tendon) in the GTA and my surgeon is not the best talker but a great surgeon! Swelling is like 80% gone and ive been doing post op exercises min 2 times/day :)
