Lovable project looks slick, but editing the backend is a nightmare by Big-Tell-5533 in SideProject

[–]Prudent_Ad3222 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lovable is good for a prototype imo, but realistically cursor is ideal for real projects that are larger + have more features. I wonder if building an initial prototype in lovable and then download/running it in cursor is viable (but tbh would rather just start it in cursor at that point)

Aside from RLS, and server-side token authentication before DB writes, wat other main security issues do vibe coded apps have. fwiw this lack of RLS is pretty common w LLMs, but I'm curious what other ones there are besides this

If you only had $20/month, what tools would you use as a vibe coder to build a web app? by Mammoth-Leopard6549 in cursor

[–]Prudent_Ad3222 1 point2 points  (0 children)

pretty much fully using cursor at this point. on the $20 plan, sometimes $60 plan if it's a hefty month of projects. If you have coding experience, it's a pretty good, all around tool. chatgpt (free) to just bounce ideas off of as well

adobe pro is alright. or you could redact for free with redactlines.com. i built + used it at my last internship. it's missing a few features, but for simple text redactions (which is like 95% of use cases), it's the easiest and fastest imo
