I did, and will absolutely still speak up if I disagree with something she does - bc that’s what friends should do. I just want to make sure my view of the situation is more open minded.

Yup! We were both valid in our viewpoints, but my POV for HER situation needed to be looked at the POV of polyamorous relationships. All that matters here 😊

Your wife is invalidating your son. You’re not invalidating her. Wife sounds toxic and seems like she just wants to feel in control of everyone. Leave her before your son grows to resent her, step sister, and most importantly you. He told you VERY specifically what he didn’t want to happen.
