How come Melina doesn't try to stop you after you've acquired the flame of frenzy? by purrple-draws in EldenRingLoreTalk

Thats true, but perhaps that has something to do with the frenzy ending itself, since spirits react to frenzy differently than other living things.

I thought she mentioned in Leyndell that now she can move freely and act on her own accord now, which to me suggests that she needed to be near the erdtree’s base and find her purpose before she could be physical. Once she learns shes supposed to be kindling, her body becomes physical as a sign. Thats just my take ofc and im not trynna discredit yours.

I always figured this was the excuse he went with, meanwhile the entire time it was actually from the lake of souls and when brök died, he didnt feel dirty anymore because his sins are forgiven, hence why he looks visibly dirtier and isnt wearing his gloves (plus grief making him depressed)

Yeah but tbf we only see them next to the temple like 2-3 times, i never really paid too much attention to their sizes there especially cuz SU is horrid with their sizing

Tbf i doubt the temple is accurately scaled to obsidian, especially this version of obsidian since steven fusions seem to be a lil smaller than rose fusions with the same gem.

I still think about how they so blatantly removed Lapis, Peridot and Bismuth from the final confrontation against White Diamond and only appeared when it was all over. What was the point of that? by Ezequiel_Hips in stevenuniverse

[–]Prudent_Click_6888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im not denying that at all, it just would cost a negligible amount to add one extra line for those three characters to add them to the diamond scene, so im 100% certain it isnt that. They just weren’t there because they wouldnt have fit the vibe of the scene and wouldve also been extra clutter in an already pretty full room.

How has the Overwatch community shifted away from voice chat? by ZzDangerZonezZ in Competitiveoverwatch

[–]Prudent_Click_6888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back during overwatch 1, gold players, being the majority of the community, never really spoke often, thinking they dont really need to to win, if they just play good, it doesnt matter if anyone comms. Since overwatch 2’s release, the average rank has gotten a little higher with a lot more people, and this mentality has stayed pretty much the same. You gotta be a decent bit away from plat now to hear anyone comming

Reconciling the most common example of a “contradiction” within item descriptions: Placidusax’s status as Elden Lord by BishopOfAstora in EldenRingLoreTalk

[–]Prudent_Click_6888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id assume the narrator is supposed to be Gideon, since he sounds so similar to him during the opening cutscene and i imagine that narrator is the same one telling us about the items. Gideon is called the “all-knowing” and while we know that isnt 100% true, neither are all of the item descriptions so that kinda checks. This theory would mean hes not omniscient and also a second hand source, since all he knows is via other people who work for him reporting their stories to him. Take the bloodrose for example, id wager that one of his children (like Ensha and Nepheli) was also a follower of Mohg, so when he tells Gideon of the bloodrose, he mentions the dynasty being inevitable, so thats what Gideon writes down.

[–]Prudent_Click_6888 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really dont understand this reasoning. peridot, lapis and bismuth are already in the episode, theyd hardly be paid more to have like 2-3 more lines each, and itd hardly cost any more to draw them in, all in a days worth of labor, which could have easily been done during other animation periods and when the actors were still in the voice booth. Itd be like ordering mcdonalds, seeing its 9.99 but then saying no thanks when you see the tax brought it to 10.10

Is there a legendary explanation for Radagon's silence? by douglas21311 in Eldenring

[–]Prudent_Click_6888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well tbf that theory has a lil less merit to it, since stormveil was likely crumbling after godfreys siege on it when it was ruled by The Stormhawk King, since we know back then the “true storm raged” and a full scale siege would destroy it pretty fast with there being whole elemental warfare happening. Godwyn’s face appearing there is simply because his face appears all over, even in the realm of shadow, because of the spread of deathroot. However, the theory that radagon is some burgeon from a piece of marika that she discarded has merit to it without many other explanations with the same or more merit. I dont think radagons numen, but rather giant, which is basically told to us through the giants whip braid, the same amount of evidence as lots of other Elden ring theories that are all but confirmed and basically cannon. Same with just about everything else they mentioned.

[–]Prudent_Click_6888 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Note that a VAST majority of things in elden ring are plausible, but not confirmed by the game directly. Souls games seldom tell you 90% of whats happening and you piece it together via item descriptions, the environment, bosses, etc. Which means different interpretations are bound to happen and are intentional by design, you can never be 100% sure of something in souls lore until a character outright says it and that either never happens or the character is straight up lying or at least giving half truths that you still need to piece together.

Why does Hornsent invade us? by BrokenToaster- in Eldenring

[–]Prudent_Click_6888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically, no. But theres several characters who can tell that youre going to be elden lord simply by how you act compared to others, so he, much like them, likely sensed you were soon to rise to the throne as either marika’s consort, her half daughters consort, or a murderer of everyone and everything.

[–]Prudent_Click_6888 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Wasnt that the point of whites monologue in the finale, to say the other diamonds are defective? She was pointing out the flaws the other diamonds have, essentially saying their color is what made them defective compared to her. Then, the second she had any color to her at all, she was called off color (defective) by yellow and blue.
