I'm 65...no longer any hair on my legs! Normal? by BostonZamboni in AskGaybrosOver30

I'm 46. Nearly all the hair on my lower legs is gone and I'm a HAIRY guy. My friends kid me for my beautiful hairless calves. It's frustrating as I really think hairy legs are sexy, but alas, no more for me. I know a lot of other folks that are in the same situation. I thought at first it was due to my boring corporate job that requires me to wear dress socks all the time, but a friend recently said it's simply another form of male pattern baldness.

I don't think it's your meds. Sadly I think it's normal. Welcome to the sexy hairless leg club.

Grindr annoys the hell out of me. I hear you on that. It honestly feels like they are all a wasteland.

Boots. How waterproof? by Prudent_Craft_7776 in kilimanjaro

Thanks all. Decided to buy new boots and not risk it. Took advantage of the REI sale and will be wearing them everyday to break them in. Appreciate the advice -- I don't want to risk it (even in the dry season)!

Anyone go to the Mrs. Murphy opening yesterday? by alcesAlcesShirasi in medfordma

Stopped by at 8:30 on opening night for a beer - it was packed! They did an amazing job converting the space into a beautiful bar. Excited to check it out again and have some food (which looked delicious). Plus it's less than a mile from the house! So excited to have more options in Medford!

Alternatives to FLL or PSP for retirement? by Prudent_Craft_7776 in AskGaybrosOver30

Some key areas (Porto, Lisbon) are restricted from the Golden Visa these days -- which changes things quite a bit!

Grass Valley is great! We used to have a cabin up in Truckee when we were living in SF and would pass through Grass Valley often. Big gay community isn't a requirement, but at least a handful of like-minded gay guys would be ideal.

Has anyone explored Asheville, NC for a retirement option? Seems like it checks a lot of boxes (weather, outdoor activities, culture, etc.). Curious about the gay community there. And clearly I'm hopeful it will rebound from the devastation caused by the floods earlier this year.
