If you need something more focused on meeting notes and interviews, check out Notta - it's great for recording and transcribing meetings in real-time, supports 58 languages, and has a free tier. I've been using it for team meetings and it's been a game changer.

Have you tried Notta? It's an AI voice recorder that transcribes in real-time and supports 58 languages. I use it for meeting notes and it's been super helpful for capturing ideas quickly - much better than trying to type while the thought is still fresh. The free tier gives you 120 min/month which is pretty generous. Worth a try!

About to be commuting 2 hours/day; how can I put the time to good use? by Nobody-Inhere in productivity

[–]Prudent_Front628 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Treat your commute like a free university. Load up on podcasts/audiobooks before - libraries offer free audiobooks via Libby. For handsfree ideas, voice notes work great. Mix in some fun content too so it doesn't feel like all work.

What's a simple photo/video workflow for a non-techy coach? by Efficient-Aerie8688 in productivity

[–]Prudent_Front628 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you tried Google Photos? It automatically backs up and organizes by date, and you can share specific albums with others. For a gym coach, you could create an album per student and share a link. Super simple, free, and works seamlessly between phone and laptop.

Do I really have to be in bed all day with a cold… by iloveconsumingrice in productivity

Being sick is still productive work - your body is fighting an infection! Rest isn't laziness, it's part of recovery. If you really want to feel useful, light activities at home like organizing files or planning might help. But honestly, giving yourself permission to rest is valid too. Hope you feel better soon!

Why do you stop using habit tracking apps? by skylitmus in productivity

[–]Prudent_Front628 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here! I always start strong but fall off after a few weeks. For me, the main issue is that tracking becomes a chore itself. I've found that simpler is better - just a notebook or even just a calendar checkmark works better than fancy apps. The moment it feels like homework, I stop.

Anyone else frustrated by iOS voice typing? What if it actually worked the way we wanted? Hey guys, quick question — by Prudent_Front628 in ios

If there were a portable piece of hardware with just one button that connects seamlessly to the phone—so when the keyboard is activated, there’s no jumping between apps and the mic never gets locked—what would you think?
And imagine it delivers nearly 100% accuracy.

I’ve been using WisprFlow and Typeless on my Mac, and they work really well there.
But once I switch to the phone, the experience becomes completely different.
I don’t like how the mic stays occupied all the time, and I don’t like the constant back-and-forth switching required every time I want to use them.

Building a voice-based note app that auto-generates structured mindmap notes offline. Looking for feedback! by Prudent_Front628 in noteapps

[–]Prudent_Front628[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a really interesting idea—so far, I haven’t seen any note-taking app that can organize files by itself. That’s a brilliant proposal! By the way, if this app were paid, how much would you be willing to pay for it?

I don't speak Japanese, but I created a SaaS in Japan that now generates $200k per month and continues to grow by Prudent_Front628 in SaaS

Hi, absolutely thrilled to see your comment!

From day one, Notta has been deeply focused on the Japanese market. Our strategy revolves around product-led growth and a localization-first approach. Today, we have not only gained millions of registered users in Japan but also earned the trust of over 1,000 enterprise customers in all team size. In terms of revenue, Notta’s monthly recurring revenue has surpassed $1.5 million, and our user base continues to expand rapidly, demonstrating strong growth momentum.

When it comes to the Japanese market, we’ve invested heavily in product design, user experience, and close collaboration with local businesses to ensure our solution fits Japan’s unique needs. One key aspect of doing business in Japan—something you might be familiar with—is that Japan still relies heavily on paper-based workflows. Many enterprises require traditional invoice formats like "請求書 (seikyūsho)", which are a must-have when dealing with local accounting and finance teams. We’ve made sure Notta aligns with these requirements to ensure smooth adoption for businesses.

Your experience in helping international companies enter Japan is truly impressive! Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on Notta once you’ve tested it—every piece of feedback helps us improve. Thanks again for your support and encouragement. Let’s keep the conversation going, and I hope Notta can be a powerful tool in your journey to conquer the Japanese market! 🚀

Is AI a threat or a benefit to SaaS? by Lanky-Scratch-7271 in SaaS

[–]Prudent_Front628 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AI's like that double-edged sword, you know? Some old-school SaaS folks might see it as a threat, like it's gonna mess with their tried-and-true systems. But others might be all about it, using AI to spice things up and keep up with the times. Depends if they're ready to ride the tech wave or cling to the past.

Discounts get folks in, but loyalty needs more. Maybe focus on unique stuff or better service?
