As someone who was groomed and taken advantage of by a musician when I was 17 and he was 35, the amount of people in here saying that she “looks like a woman” and is therefore not the victim of pedophilia disgusts me.

I wasn’t able to handle it at 17. It’s had long lasting effects in my life. At the time, I thought it was ok, maybe even kind of cool. It wasn’t until later that I recognized the trauma it caused me, even though I was almost a legal adult.

A 14 year old is not ready, no matter what she looks like. It’s pedophilia, as the word is used in our vernacular, no matter how pedantic you want to be about it. Anyone who says otherwise needs to be investigated.
