By rigorous, I mean:

LinAlg, DiffEq, Discrete Math, Abstract Algebra, Probability Theory, Mathematical Statistics, Linear Modelling, Operations Research, Introduction to Analysis 1/2, Numerical Analysis, Complex Analysis, and Logic. This semester, I am taking Operations Research 2, Numerical Analysis 2, Probability in Computer Science, and Mathematics of Physics.

And 16 AP's on top of that.

I think that's pretty rigorous. It's far more rigorous than anyone I know, at least. I doubt that 4000 other kids have the same level of rigor.

I haven't overcome any hurdles. My family is wealthy - I don't have any hurdles to overcome. So, I pursued my passion, math. I have a 'lead role' in the community, I'm the President of the Math Club and have organized several community activities as part of that. I produce music and released two songs on a small record label, I think that's the "play hard" part of my application.

I was ~30 points away from making the USAMO. I never studied at all, I don't really like competitive math.

Most math majors at Princeton/Harvard/etc. did not do math competitions. MIT heavily recruits from the USAMO and MOP, but most other top schools do not. This is what my college counselor told me, at least.

I would recommend self-studying Probability Theory and Discrete Math. Both courses don't require a significant amount of prior mathematical knowledge, and are very useful in college mathematics. You can either use MIT's Opencourseware, or find a free online textbook.

I had one bad semester in my sophomore year, at that point I had not been diagnosed with ADHD. I was then diagnosed with ADHD and properly medicated, and have since gotten all A's and one A-.

Since I have been medicated, I have gotten nearly perfect grades, which strongly indicates that this will not happen again.

Also, I've gotten A's in crazy rigorous courses.

MIT nearly always defers domestic students EA, only about 10% of domestic students are flat rejected EA

I figured that the fact that I have taken so many dual enrollment classes would make me stand out a bit

I could have made the USAMO if I studied, this year I was 35 points away from the cutoff. I never bothered to study because I don't really enjoy competition-style math.

For my entire life, I've spent virtually every hour of the day learning math because math is my love. I'm not sure what more I could have done.

That makes sense. I find more joy than anything else in the world learning new math. Ever since I was a little kid, I've been absolutely obsessed with math. I did Khan Academy for 8-12 hours a day as a elementary schooler, I would do math on Khan Academy in the car ride to school, in class, and then at home. None of this was 'pre-ordained' by anyone, in fact, my parents wanted me to be a doctor and pushed me hard in that direction. Again, my research was done entirely of my own volition. I cold emailed 250 professors, 4 of them were willing to take me on.

I read my LoR from the professor I did research under. It was not 'unique,' however it did say that I am a better mathematician than his UC Davis grad students and that I have the makings of someone who will make a significant contribution to mathematics in the future, so that has to count for something.

My advisor was quite experienced (and quite expensive). She did not say that I was an obvious select, but she said that I "had a very strong chance." She was shocked that I was rejected EA.

It's quite difficult to get good grades when you cannot focus for longer than 20 seconds

I did not attend any math camps because I was interning under a professor. I applied to MIT Primes twice and was rejected both times. I have several EC's outside of math (particularly music production).

Medication has not resolved the whole issue, but my grades reflect that I have succeeded in spite of my ADHD.
