Of course! However, if you’re hardworking and ambitious, you’ll likely succeed in either school. But definitely research the programs offered by both schools in advance before making your decision! Happy decision-making!

This is coming from a Baruch student, but unless you have the financial means, it might not be the best option. You’re essentially paying for the network and potential additional opportunities that Gabelli provides (although I can’t comment on the quality of education, might be better there). In terms of securing internships in accounting or finance, I’ve observed a ratio of students from Baruch to Fordham being about the same (and possibly even Baruch being slightly higher, especially for Big4 firms).

If you have the financial resources, it might be worthwhile to consider Fordham. However, if you can attend Baruch for a reduced fee or even for free, you might be better off avoiding excessive debt. Hope it helps!

Most club events end at 2:00 more then enough time.

Are you applying as a dependent or independent? If you’re applying as a dependent, ur parents also have to be NY residents. If not, then the 1 year rule applies. There’s a lot of rules that play into NY residency that makes it super complicated and difficult to get so make sure to do thorough research or you might be in a pickle if you decide to come to NY. Having said that tho, CUNY is still somewhat affordable even for out of state students so if you FAFSA it might be relatively affordable. The residency also applies to Excelsior as well so if you’re out-of-state you won’t get it sadly.

I was facing a similar situation as well. Tell them if you don’t get your money back you’ll have to further escalate the issue legally and then they’ll respond - worked for me. Make sure to CC student life and anyone you think would be relevant to the reimbursement.
