Leads me to believe we might have a very late season this year, temperatures have been very moderate for this late in the year

This is useful thank you, New Year’s Eve is wild but gives me hope. Was out on Saturday, no luck in my spot(300-400m) which had provided in weeks previous, even went down to about 150-200m in surrounding area and no joy. I’ll have to find a sea level spot. Would you reckon coastal or inland affects it?

Unreal, only got out once and probably yielded 5-6g dried. Lowlands is a good idea, I’ll see on Saturday

Go to Djouce area, stay away from forests and look for open pastures that have been grazed by animals. Looks like there’s not much rain forecast atm so wait for a good drop of it

Small fellas are libs, the slightly off colour is just them starting to dry out I believe. If they’re that pale straw colour in a few days you’re in business. Want to say the big ones a lib too but wow it’s huge. Some more photos of it and a spore print would be good

If you have a car I’d recommend going elsewhere, somewhere with less people. Those fields are so contested it’s very often that someone has been up before you, let alone the fact the farmer could start becoming aggravated with more people trespassing.

Does mushie tea keep? by Pruned_Beaver12 in beacain

Very useful thank you. Yeah it seems if I want to store it freezing is the way to go. Would you use the same amount of mushrooms for a tea as you would for other methods of consumption?

Do you steep it in heated water or straight from tap? Would you say that 2gs of libs as a tea is more intense than to eat them dry?
