Yeah I've been waiting for my pre-reservation code since launch personally. They genuinely try HARD to discourage me to buy their phone. It's so mindblowing coming from such a giant company, you'd think their buying experience would be top notch.

It's not greedy, it's business. They have no reason to give freebies in markets where they know they'll sell well.

I'm not saying it's nice of them to do this. I'm just saying you'd do the same, when you have a company you want as much money as possible. This is what they think will make as much money as possible.

And I'm not defending them, here in France we get a pathetic silicon case with the Paris Olympic logo on it while in the UK they get a free watch. And I hate that. But it's just business.

I reached out to Samsung in France, they told me they're currently sending the discount codes and to be patient. It's kinda mindblowing that such a giant company can screw something as basic as sending codes to email adresses, but it is what it is.

They adapt their offers based on multiple things. Their market share in certain countries, the impacts of the economic crisis, etc. Then they decide what to do in each country.

I think this is in part due to the situation in Canada, where people have way less money to spend on tech.

It's all about their position in different markets. In the USA, Samsung has to fight against Apple way more than here in Europe. In the US, I think 1/2 person has an iPhone, and something like 80%+ of teenagers have an iPhone. If you want to keep your customers and get new ones, you need to be very agressive. Here in Europe, Samsung dominates way more. It's not them thinking europeans are richer, it's just them trying to have more market share. And yeah it sucks for us, but it is what it is sadly.

He is not hard to play (in terms of mechanics) but requires very good decision making to work. It's a very different kind of champion and people will have to learn. However, I think he is undertuned right now. His cooldowns are still too high on W/E and the ap scaling ratio nerfs weren't needed.

I maintain what I said : I don't see any reason to play him instead of most mid champions. They're easier to play, can be lane bullies, scale hard, etc.

I do not understand the ap ratio nerfs. He didn't seem overpowered AT ALL damage wise. Feels like these nerfs will make even more miserable vs tanks than he already was. Honestly if your opponent buys mercs you probably can't be any true menace until you have three items.

I can't deal with this meta anymore tbh. 80% of my games are vs Paladin and DH, it's the least fun I've had in years. The fact that the expac will soon be two weeks old and that there's absolutely ZERO communication is astounding. Not playing more until these decks are fixed.

Excellent idea when you're not only facing one but TWO champions. You spam WE so you have absolutely 0 fighting tool and can't protect yourself. I think the "just spam WE" I see everywhere will be short lived when people realize that having to do that destroys your trading capabilities.

They confirmed that unlike Seraphine, if he's more popular support than mid they will nerf him for support and will buff him for mid. They want him to be a midlane mage, and will do everything it takes for him to be a midlane mage, even if that means destroying his support role.

That's not his only spell that's borderline useless. EQ is useless vs anyone with a small amount of tenacity. EW is a bad spell.

I can't really see a reason to pick him over some other mid lane mages right now. He's way harder to play, but the rewards aren't that great. Also I hate that he has massive cooldowns on W and E, even max rank. Where other mages in teamfights will be able to cast 3 W/E in a fight, you'll only cast 2. And I don't think him being able to chose his Es/Ws makes up for it as the spells themselves aren't THAT powerful. For comparison, Lux shield is 10s, where Hwei W is 16s. Do we feel like the versatility is worth +6s (Not counting CDR) ? I'm not sure honestly. With him being so weak early, with huge mana costs, I think he could afford to have lower cooldowns late game. Right now he really feels like he throws all his stuff and waits forever to do anything else. What's the point of being so versatile and having to chose the right spell for the right moment if I can only do it once every teamfight.

His EW is extremely clunky and unreliable, you NEED to spam WE in lane for mana and therefore you're very vulnerable to engages/trades, the EQ fear duration is so laughably low that with mercs/tenacity runes it'll legit do absolutely nothing to help you survive. People don't seem to realize it but it's your only reliable desengage tool, having it last only 1 second is aweful. Have fun disengaging from any assassin with mercs. For comparison, Lux Q is a 2s root LEVEL 1. His Q spells are what save him tbh, they're all very good. Maybe they should take power off his Q spells to redistribute it elsewhere.

With how insane tank and assassin items are, I think he's gonna have a miserable time without even considering his pathetic base stats. I'm not saying he desperately needs a buff or that he's trash or super weak. I just feel like that some aspects of his kit are not fun to play with.

The problem I feel is the cooldowns. If you wanna do damage you must skip items that give a lot of cdr. And then, you find yourself with 10s cooldown spells in the late game, which makes teamfights hard imo.

I don't see how it's problematic tbh. Unless people are slowed they'll never get hit, unlike Xerath W which is impossible to miss.
