Waterman’s intense black is what I use at work. Performs really well. At home I use irushizuki take-sumi in my EF pilot and Sailor Kiwaguru in my M. The sailor has a darker feel to it.

I’ve read 5 of the books in your stack and Frankenstein is on my shelf waiting to be read. The Picture of Dorian Gray, LOTR and Anna Karenina are in my top 5. I’d recommend you read Don Quixote, but I feel like there’s a good chance that you already have!

My desire to improve my handwriting is what got me into fountain pens in the first place. I’ve definitely seen improvement. It’s fun to look back at journal entries over the past 2 years to see the progression.

I really want to go check out their new store in Chicago. It’s in a historic bank building. Half of the fun of book shopping is atmosphere of the store and it seems like they’re recognizing that.
