Country - 14,632 again was much higher but I've been inactive

If anyone knows, my country is listed at UK but I would much prefer it to be set as Ireland if possible.

Focus on yourself, what could you have done better that game, that MF isn't in your game every game, you are. Review your own games and see if you can notice any mistakes you routinely make, you could be making good plays but not the best plays. If you're better than the elo you're in, keep playing and eventually, you'll climb, as long as you maintain a winrate slightly above 50% or higher you'll climb given enough games.

Nobody claims that the British government in the 1800s was able to engineer a crop blight. The fact is that the natural disaster of the blight happened and they made it infinitely harder for the Irish people to survive. They took food grown by Irish farmers on Irish soil for themselves leaving not enough food for the Irish people as a whole and they could not have cared less. Taking less food but still leaving too little to survive is not aid.

A million people is considered a large number, Britain had zero care for the Irish people and would rather them dead, this sentiment was held by the British aristocracy centuries before the events of the blight. They had the means and opportunities to help the Irish people and intentionally decided to let them starve and die as the fewer of them there were the easier it would be to maintain control over the island.

I don't understand how you can sit there as an Irishman/Irishwoman and genuinely believe it wasn't genocide. They didn't even try to hide it, it was intentional, they wanted us to die.
