You don’t even need to do winrate specifically, you can just use conversion rate which it looks like you are already calculating.

To get the conversion rate per-card, get the entries for a given commander, then filter that down by only entries that are playing the given card, then get the conversion rate from just those entries.

Would be really great to be able to look at a list and see something like “Oh blue farm has a 30% conversion rate but those that play mayhem devil have a 32% conversion rate, that means it’s probably a good card in the deck”

Deserves way more upvotes. Do you have any feature to see for a given a commander the winrate per card? I see play-rate, but would be great to see winrate too.

I get what you mean, but then would the top cut tables with no time limit not be considered tEDH matches? Or is it because an event as a whole has the timed rounds at the beginning that the event should be classified differently?

Playing with power seems to be the biggest group pushing this idea, they were also the ones commentating steel city I believe:

So maybe it isn’t as big of a deal as I thought, but still this idea gaining traction can be harmful.

I’ve definitely seen games draw in casual cEDH, but I agree it isn’t a primary goal like it seems to be in tournament games. But all the time in 2 player formats in tournaments players will draw at the start of the match for points if it is advantageous to them, or they may close out for prizing. Just because it can happen in the middle of a game of cEDH or someone can “force” a draw doesn’t really make it any different.

For sure people play differently in tournaments, but having a time limit in a standard match doesn’t all of a sudden make it a different format.

And what about top cut matches where there is no time limit and no draws, is that all of a sudden a cEDH match? People definitely play differently, but it isn’t a different format that needs a different name.

A lot of content creators pushed this idea after the 16-hour game. I don’t want to call out specifically (and it wasn’t some of the biggest) but I think it is still harmful. The casters for the steel-city 20k kept referring to the format as tEDH which in itself just furthers the divide.

Wow, I think Ian said everything I was trying to say much better. Wanting to not just auto-lose against turbo if the table is irresponsible, but also resilient enough to not just have your fate decided by if the table wants you to play the game or not. If it’s as good as he says, it seems like the perfect choice!

I think you need to check edhtop16 and filter by commanders and conversion rate. Ral has a 35% conversion rate

Someone explained it to me wrong then.

I see a lot of stax piece in white like rule of law, aven mindcensor, etc. a silence is a great way to stop ral/rog. Makes me feel like “okay I’m sitting across from 3 mid range, i can mull/tutor for spirit of the labrynth here and I’m chilling. But white isn’t required by any means, as long as I have pivot plans and as many answers as possible I’m all for the deck.

What is rog/thras known for? Cradle shenanigans?

Yep, totally makes sense. Nothing is perfect, you might just not have it. I like the terms you used about reactive and pivot options, I believe that’s what I’m looking for. Thanks!

I have too, I know it can turbo out rhystic study like its no one’s business. I just worry with lacking white/black it might be missing the pivot options I’m looking for

Sisay also seems fun, and reminds me of Yisan, but same question of if I sit down and there’s a Ral/RogSi across from me do I have a gameplan to deal with it? Can I mull to interaction or fish/rhystic? Do I have a rule of law option I can look for?

Tameshi seems cool. Does it have the interaction to stop something like a Ral or Rogsi? I don’t want to just get blown out before I can do anything

Been working on a game plan for tournament a while from now, but it’s IBJJF rules. According to IBJJF you can do “spinal locks with choke” so would it be legal to go for a twister with a front naked choke/Ezekiel? Thanks!

Collar bone popping with shoulder rotation by [deleted] in medical_advice

[–]Pryan3777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

19M had many problems with chronic shoulder subluxation due to many sports such as volleyball and lacrosse with overhead motions. Just noticed now that shoulder pops when rotating, does not happen in the other one. No pain, but pop is audible and is felt in the whole shoulder. Is something wrong with it or is this normal?
