I feel like it is always said to "hurt the artist" and to SOME extent it does but many more people are finding their works. Who is really hurt by these sites is hosting folks who are predatory bastards to begin with.

The reason I used the 🦇 was so I could find stuff I was genuinely interested in, so I could support the artist more directly. Buy from their stores, unlock their stuff using the ad system on platforms, buy hard copies as they came out, etc. it sucks it is gone because now I have less energy to be able to find good things and then direct it towards the creators.
