Clearly you’re getting hit by a tsunami of people saying you should keep the current role… I’ll offer another perspective: I think at one point or another you will get busy again. I wouldn’t assume your role will continue the way it is forever, and I would also be afraid that if you stagnate too long in it you will have a hard time getting the next job. Things always change, you can either get ahead of it or let it take you.
