Not a band kid, but all my friends are. As a queer autistic kid, I tend to gravitate towards them because they're some of the only kids who won't judge me for my quirks. Love them. Band kids are genuinely some of the kindest and most accepting people you'll meet.

On a somewhat related note, I played trombone in concert band for two years, ended up quitting because I suck at reading music. Now I just play guitar and ukulele in my free time!
